Continuous Flow Leak Test
What is a Continuous Flow Leak Test?
The Continuous Flow leak test method allows the flow sensor to measure the flow faster. This is possible because the air is continuously flowing between parts being loaded and unloaded versus the alternative of having to start from a no flow condition.
How is a Continuous Flow test performed?
To perform the test the system initiates flow through an orifice greater than the flow expected through the test part. Next, the part is then connected to the tester and the flow reading stabilizes quickly due to its continuous flow.
Acceptance or rejection of the test part is made based on the program limits.
